Using a theme well
- Reveal the theme at the kickoff for maximum hype.
- Tie outfits, music, and decorations together.
- Let classes or grades add their own spin.
- Keep the focus on laps and pledges — the theme is the wrapper.
Color and festival ideas
Leaning heavily into colored powder makes it a Color Run, and a big themed festival may be a Fun Run. Borrow the energy, keep the Jog-a-Thon structure.
Key takeaways
- A theme turns laps into a memorable event.
- Reveal it at the kickoff and tie everything together.
- Keep laps and pledges at the center.
